Software License Agreement

1. Grant of License

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for creating balloon annotations on engineering drawings and related technical documentation.

2. Permitted Uses

• Use the Software for personal or commercial engineering projects
• Create, edit, and export balloon annotations and technical documentation
• Install the Software on devices you own or control
• Make backup copies for personal use

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Distribute, sell, or sublicense the Software
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Remove or modify any copyright notices or license information
• Use the Software for illegal or unauthorized purposes

4. ISO Tolerance Calculations – Important Disclaimer

This Software includes ISO tolerance calculation tools and technical reference data designed to assist engineers in making informed decisions. While we strive to maintain accuracy and alignment with current ISO standards, please note:

• The Software may not always reflect the most recent updates to ISO standards or account for all regional or industry-specific variations
• Calculation results and technical data are intended for general guidance and may not be suitable for all applications without additional validation

User Responsibility: Users are responsible for verifying that all tolerance values and calculations meet their specific requirements. For critical applications, we strongly recommend consulting the latest official ISO documentation and a qualified engineering professional.

5. Privacy and Data

The Software operates entirely offline. Your engineering drawings, annotations, and project data remain on your local device and are never transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While the Licensor makes reasonable efforts to ensure functionality and accuracy, it expressly disclaims all warranties—whether express, implied, or statutory—including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Licensor shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use—or inability to use—the Software. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from inaccurate calculations, data loss, or business interruptions. Users are responsible for verifying all results before applying them in critical or high-risk contexts.

8. Updates and Support

Licensor may release updates at its discretion. Technical support is provided on a best-effort basis via official communication channels.

9. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any part of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use and destroy all copies of the Software in your possession.

10. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights, remain with the Licensor. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership rights to the Licensee.

11. Compatibility Notice

Licensor does not guarantee that the Software will be compatible with all hardware configurations, operating systems, or future versions of platforms on which it may run.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
